Summer review, because I need the reminder of warmer days!

What a whirlwind this year has been!
We closed out the season at The Castle in Muskogee, OKRF, what amazing staff, patrons, and friends. We did not renew a contract at OKRF for next year due to family, we have the privilege of taking care of Papa Charles.
At the beginning of August, we submitted 6 gourds in the Lone Star Gourd competition, intermediate division, in New Braunfels, Texas. We brought home 8 ribbons, including Judges Choice and Best of the Division. I am humbled and honored. I had no idea what the big deal was about a ribbon until I earned one… ☺️
August also included a trip to California, the first time in 20 years that all of my siblings we in the same place, to bury my adopted dad, Dan. Not gonna lie, His death threw me, and production came to a screeching halt in June, when he passed. Not sure what happened in July, it’s a blur.
But September found us gearing up for TRF, and I found my spark again. Super excited about new techniques with the art on gourds and MORE color than ever before! Stay tuned for previews as we complete all the stages, and watch out for fantastic additions to our scale pieces!
Thank you all for being a part of this, we Luv ya!
